Prof. Joe Tulman Receives Council on Court Excellence Award!

Congratulations to Prof. Joe Tulman, pictured at right with Associate Dean Hannah Lieberman and Prof. John Brittain, upon receipt of the Council on Court Excellence prestigious Potter Stewart Award. Prof. Tulman,  longtime director of the UDC David A. Clarke School of Law Took Crowell Institute for At-Risk Youth, received the Award on May 24 at the Washington Marriott at Metro Center at the Council's 35th Anniversary and Justice Potter Steward Award Dinner.  

According to the Council, "Joe Tulman has championed justice for young people his entire career. With colleagues in the UDC Juvenile & Special Educations Law Clinic, Joe has pioneered the use of special education advocacy for youth in the neglect, delinquency, and criminal systems, and inspired a new generation of advocates in the field."

Tulman shared the Award with Grace E. Speights of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP.
